Care
All functional pottery is microwavable and dishwasher safe though handwashing is recommended for longevity of pieces. All kitchenware is food safe.
Raku pieces are not washable, not food safe and are not meant to hold water. Raku works are fine art pieces intended to be enjoyed as decor.
Shipping
Ready-made work will be shipped within 3-5 business days of order and a tracking number will be provided. Flat rate shipping and handling rates are based on the approximate size/weight of products. Please be mindful of shipping to a secure location, unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for stolen packages.
Hand delivery to locations in Hollywood, Santa Monica or the San Fernando Valley is an option. Please note delivery will be based on my schedule availability.
Replacements
Any work damaged in shipping will be issued as an exchange. Claims must be made within 5 days of receipt and replacement items may take several weeks to fulfill. Photo documentation of the damaged item and box is required. Send claims to paperdollpottery@gmail.com
Refunds
All sales are final, no refunds will be made. Any work damaged in shipping will be offered as an exchange.
Why do commissions take so long?
Pottery is a process….the making and firing of pottery requires time and often times the perilous process of making pottery involves failure. Cracks happen, Explosion happen. Unforeseen hurdles are the norm in the pottery world. Commission timelines allow time for the uncertainties inherent to the making of pottery
Wholesale Commissions
Custom wholesale orders may take additional time to complete, pending what else is in the queue. Please contact me in advance to see what may be possible. A 50% deposit will be required, and there may be additional design fees for special projects.
On the nature of handmade works
Each piece of handmade pottery is one-of-a-kind. Pieces may vary slightly by size, weight and color. As with any handmade work, small irregularities are to be expected and celebrated. When items are hand-washed and handled with care this pottery can last a lifetime.
